Hi,
Solid wall (not cavity I believe)
Floor solid too.
Likely old chimney breast there, but would have been sealed for decades.
Yes, skirting some what pushed out.
Outside pic attached.
Directly outside is what I believe to be a sealed up cat flap!
Hi team,
Please see attached image for more detail.
I have patch of what I think damp/mold.
It is located behind a cupboard- since removed.
It is an external wall.
How best to treat this (presuming It mold/damp).
Air circulation would have been limited due to the cupboard, but I have now...

So push one end into the soil pipe? And attach the other end to the extractor fan?
I have about 7-8 inches between soil pipe and back of extractor fan
I only uncovered this situation when the extractor fan stopped working (after 7 years). Called a British Gas Homecare electrician to replace the extractor unit and he uncovered the out of line ducting.
Refused to fit new one until ducting was fixed.
Hi all,
Hoping someone can provide some helping suggestions.
My extractor fan has stopped working, so removed to replace it.
Turns out that the extractor fan was never fully connected to the ducting. Nor properly lined up.
See images to give a better impression.
What I need is to connect to...
Hi all,
Looking for some advice on how to repressurize my worchester i30.
Pictures attached.
Online guide says 3 methods possible.
1. a built in loop with a lever you just pull (not there on mine),
2. a key system (can't see this inlet)
3. flexible hose attachment.
Likely option 3... but...
It's was pebbles, stones and some silt all built up blocking the flow.
Pebbles/stones same as the ones near the man hole covers. I would say the old man hole covers were not fully sealed and let in some debris over the years.
TW arrived this morning.
The drain gully that I showed before is a rain/grey water gully.
Further along (not known to me and buried) TW found another manhole or an IC chamber I think it's called. This is gathering rain/gray water and sewer waste inputs.
This was full of stones/pebbles that was...
Hi all,
Looking for some advise and guidance.
We have what I am told is a gully drain that runs along side my house (on my property).
There is a square man hole cover on it, that drops into a 5ft deep concrete square space. At the bottom of this space you can see a gully/drain that is fed by...
Hi all,
Hoping someone can assist.
Excuse me if my terminogy is not accurate.
I have a small leak where the horizontal chrome pipe enters the wall (see attached).
How do I go about fixing this?
My feeling is that the horizontal pipe is too short, as I have had connection issues on the other...
