I'm having my board replaced with a new dual rcd one. My electrician opened my old one thats been in place for 25 years and I noted some units that have been doubled or sometimes tripled! See attached photo.
Is this bad / risky practice? I know very little but would be good to understand what...
I was told some years ago for me to get Solar panels I need to have an RCD board. I can see RCD text on the fuse box but wanted to be sure if its compatible with the latest regs. Image attached.
Thanks Ken, I did check out a lot of YouTube videos but they all talk about changing the tension of the spring and not balancing a wonky door or changing the cable tension one on side.
I have a Henderson Premier garage door which is catching on the bottom right frame when it closes as shown in the photo.
I noticed the cable on that side is much tighter than on the other side. It only has one nut on the overhead spring that can be tightened on the left and I am aware it is...

What is the best way to clean and paint this bit above a bay window?
Whats the piece above the window called and is there a specific type of outdoor paint I should use?
I noticed a small fault in a tile on my roof today, however looking at original photos of the house we took when we bought it, its been there for some time.
It appears like a very thin layer of the red tile has come off but the core concrete part of the tile is still intact, just the red layer...
Thanks, after isolating all of them and turning one on by one, I isolated as two being an issue with the front tamper spring not connecting, who would have thought brand new sensors need the spring adjusting!!
Thanks again
