The cracks I have are higher in the plaster than this. It is just above where the skirting meets the plaster

Where are the stringers? Stairs do have quite a bit of movement in them.

I have tried a flexible filler and it just recracks when the weather gets cold or pushes the filler out in the heat.

Was looking for someone to say - you need to repair the stringers in the stairs, have you tried using x product, etc.
