Just out of interest, why is this? Why is the air gap required? I know for a fact that my kitchen has 2 x 2.5mm T&E running in single conduit (don't ask me how I know :wink: )... is this really a problem? Is it worth the effort of sorting this out?

Really?! Damn! So does this mean you can't put two 2.5mm T&E cables down one 20mm conduit even though it will fit?

This is a very common problem with these boilers. For a recondidtioned board you could try http://www.cetltd.com/, I got one from them for around 50 quid delivered .... did the job nicely.

You'll may well find that there's a "burnt" looking patch between a couple of relays somewhere in the middle of the board.

I am not an expert with boilers by any means, but I had a similar (but not exactly the same) problem with my Suprima a few months ago.... it needed the PCB replacing, apparently it is VERY common for the PCB to die on the Suprima. Potterton want something like 170 quid + VAT for the PCB so I...
