    Threshold strip for wooden door

Thanks Wayners. Don't specifically want the same product to replace it, just not really sure what to replace it with that will give a better finish. I see those nosing trim strips, do they install on top of the laminate?

    Threshold strip for wooden door

Hi Wayners. As far as I can tell it is a single strip with like a cavity in the middle to press a seal into. I could probably replace the seal, but really the finish with the floor is a bit crap.

    Threshold strip for wooden door

Hi folks, I'd like to replace the current strip for a wood front door. It has a seal of sorts, but is currently cut into the laminate flooring. Since I'm planning to replace the laminate as well, it would be good to replace with something that is also a transition instead of cut in like this...

    Disassemble kitchen unit

Yeah I'll cut the top panel then and see if that's ok for the plumber. I can't really figure how much clearance he needs to get at the little ports at the top of the boiler, but if it's more than the depth of the unit I guess it will have to come out. Couldn't get the plumber to talk to the...

    Disassemble kitchen unit

Tiny unit on the left, then cooker. Other side the boiler is pretty much right up against the wall. Does that help? Baps.

    Disassemble kitchen unit

Thanks footprints. Yeah it's pretty high up. Not entirely sure why it had to go there, but plumber was adamant that's where it had to go. Which I'm still not clear on since there's plenty of space beneath it. Anyway I could probably just cut a larger portion out of the top panel if I'm getting...

    Disassemble kitchen unit

Hey folks, Just wondering if anyone could suggest how I might remove/adjust the top of a kitchen unit? The top panel is directly in line with the little test ports for a gas combi boiler. The plumber can't get the probes into the test ports to test the gases, so will have to do something with...

What type of cable to replace hedge trimmer cable?

Hey folks, Hopefully an easy one. Just wondering if anyone could point me to the type of cable I should get to replace the cable on a Bosch hedge trimmer? Is pretty flexible stuff and given 5 amp fuse, I take it it's not heavy duty. Could anyone recommend the right type? Thanks, Baps.

    Aqualisa Digital Visage shower

Hi folks, Just wondering if I could get a little advice before going down the wrong rabbithole. We have an Aqualisa Digital Visage shower, about 2.5 years old. Just in case it matters, it had a faulty power board/supply replaced about a year ago as it was not turning on on a warm day...

    PVC window not sealing properly

Found an end; pic attached. What it looks like is the seal is fine at the top and bottom, just the sides where the window is bowed it is no longer long enough to touch the frame. So I wouldn't imagine replacing the seal with an identical one would help? Baps

    PVC window not sealing properly

Thanks Gazman16. Do you mean try pulling it out of the window or the seal on the vertical part of the main window frame? I'm assuming it doesn't matter if they're both the same type, but I'm as much wondering which I'm replacing, or am I replacing both? Edit: does this help? End must be at the...

    PVC window not sealing properly

Thanks Jadele. Is this a replacement for the seal around the window that opens? How would I tell which type fits? Baps.

    PVC window not sealing properly

Hi there, Wondering if anyone would know what we can do about our front window? They're standard looking pvc windows with one panel that opens out on the right. There's a gap between that window that opens and the vertical bar at the end of the main pane. It's actually hard to see in the...
