Thanks again for the detailed reply, much appreciated oldbutnotdead. I am pleased to say I have managed sort this issue out alrhough I couldnt tell you how to be honest as I did quite a few things - loosened the frame screws and had a play about with the flag hinges in particular these screws

Thanks for that oldbutnotdead. Yes no problem at all, locks and can take the key out normally. I was thinking, would tightening the frame screws a little too tightly maybe cause it? I'll post some pics as soon as I am abe to.

Morning all, after a little help here! I installed some French doors and all went well or so I thought until I tried locking the doors, one side locks no problem but the other doesnt - it WILL lock however the key will not rotate enough to take the key out so the key has to stay in the door...

Update! No plumbers merchants near me do it by the metre and I tried four!! I ended up getting what I needed from the local scrap yard so in case anyones in the same boat. Cost zilch too (y)

Anyone know where I can get this rare beast in a hurry? I have a leak in a central heating pipe leading to a Radiator and I need to replace short section - less than a metre run. No heating at the moment so need this tomorrow, checked Screwfix/Wickes but only do 10m amounts for £20+

Fire Rear

Hi, Hoping someone can advise as to the best method in hanging a fire to a solid wall. I was given a electric fire but there appears to be no obvious mounting points on the back of it in order to secure it to the wall. How do I best mount the fire? Thank you.
