I got an engineer in to look at it. Apparently there would be a an error code if the issue was a fuse. He checked the backup battery and power supply in the box and all OK. That leaves a break in the wire. Unfortunately the wires are all embedded...
I can select omit zones from the menu but then it doesn't let me cycle through them to actually omit them. The vipers are on a separate zone from everything else. So it's either risk taking the panel lid off or ring an engineer? I don't have an engineer's code so might have to give in and ring...

I can't imagine how the cables could have been damaged as they're so well protected in the walls and floor. Can I open the alarm box and replace the fuse or will this trigger a tamper alarm? Or is it time to ring an engineer?
