Waiting for the engineer to come and I've done some more diagnostics. When the boiler is running, if you try and turn down the rad temperature directly on the boiler, it instantly cuts out and needs resetting. Could this be overheating?

With the rain last night it’s spread a little over to the left hand side… dripping more ferocious. Anything I can do in the mean time to protect the wood? Tarpaulin over it?
