hi cutting into boiler return heating pipe and cold supply help needed asap i have a bathroom which someone has concreted over all the pipe work and its leaking.the bathroom is downstairs next to boiler cuboard and kitchen other side.how do i cut the pipes out and re do? do i switch combi off...

Hi,im putting a power shower in,it had one in some time ago,so the wiring is in,there is a feed from the cold storage in loft,just need to t into the hot from cylinder.question is,how far down from the draw off on top of cylinder to i need to t in? if its too high it wont draw off will it? and...

cheers guys,it has electrics in already in the loft and airing cuboard for a power shower already,so will go for this option seeing as i need to rewire for an electric shower.which is the most powerful model? been looking at Aqualisa Aquastream,and Mira Event XS any ideas? ben

which is best,10.8kw electric or thermostatic power shower? i had a power shower in before,and the switch for it is still in the airing cuboard and wire going to a transformer.So which is best for wiring,and power? would i need to rewire it for an electric shower of 10.8 kw as the cable in...

I need to cap a hole in the bath top where i had a mixer tap as its one of those corner bath showers,and its going to have the shower part fitted tomorrow.I used it as a bath only and now i need to cover the hole.any ideas? surely you can buy plastic caps from somewhere,i havent seen em cheers...

cheers guys,i cut out a bit of old pipe,used new on the yorkshire fitting with more solder on,seems to have gone round fitting ok,will give it half an hour to cool.

cheers for the advice,read some where u can solder wet with electric solder,well damp,not full of water. can i use push fit on cylinder if i cant solder? its the top pipe which is 22mm going up to vent in loft? its on the 28mm to 22mm joint where its leaking ben

i have changed the cylinder and have a hole in one of the solder joint,i am draining now,how do i do this? is there a way i can solder the joint with one of those electric solder guns instead of a flame which is no good on wet pipes? cheers ben

that was quick,it didnt have any on before.so it needs a 22mm on the cold feed? what about the draw off on the top etc? will isolating valves not slow flow down? ben

can i put isolating valvies just before copper cylinder? just for a way to turn it off if it leaks? any tips for changing a vented indirect cylinder? got old out. ben
