Pitches are the same across the whole roof.

No chalk line is evident but have no idea how they did it. Pitch is 38 degrees. Not sure how this affects the battens being level. Happy to consider all possibilities as I have no experience in this area. Is this common practise in certain circumstances? Thanks.
