Thanks for that information John. I will bear in mind shuttering ply when I have to replace the floor, but in the mean time, I just need to get it drained. Do you agree with libby that it will be safe to use the drill?

It is some sort of board. Not sure if it is chipboard. Would that matter? The water will seep away into the grass.

Sorry if I offended you, Freddy but I was only asking for advice about the safety of using the drill, not for other ways of dealing with the water. :roll:
