Thanks for that information John. I will bear in mind shuttering ply when I have to replace the floor, but in the mean time, I just need to get it drained. Do you agree with libby that it will be safe to use the drill?

My outside shed has accumulated about an inch of water in it due to a leak. I want to drill holes in the flooring to let the water drain away. Is it safe to use a re-chargeable battery drill to do this i.e no fear of shocks?
