    The tiles were replaced like with like and the venting is same as before. Could I not get an indemnity if selling? (Not an option if I contact BC re. Regularisation)

    I'm guessing the roof has sagged over time, as some neighbouring properties are in the same way. It's a pity not to take advantage of an opportunity to set the falls correctly, considering it was bring overboarded anyway, for the rubber

    Thanks for all the helpful replies. Yes I thought it seemed a tad unprofessional. If it's only a matter of redoing the insulation over the joists then that wouldn't be the end of the world.

Existing bitumen felt was rotten and tiles very aged so contractor advised to replace the lot, and I had him do so. Have since learned that replacing all the tiles is notifiable, as they want you to upgrade...
