i wanted to put up a security light with attached PIR at 500W, i wanted to do this via a 3amp 3 core 1.5mm core cable directly from the light into the 3pin plug socket, as i dont want to take spur. to much messing drilling etc.

is this okay? 3 amp fuse and 3 core black wire???earth to earth, blue to blue, brown to brown??

im trying to connect 2 wall lights side by side in living room

i want to do this via a 3amp (3pin plug) instead of using a FCU fused at 3amp.

i am familiar with the wiring as the light tiself has earlt (metal linked) and blue / brown wires,

i will off course use a 3core black 1.5mm cable from the light to the 3amp 3pin plug.

the problem im having at moment how do i make sure both lights can come on together just by pressing the 3amp 3 pin plug??

ie how do i wire the lights up so when i switch on the 3amp lu both lights will light up??
