The timeswitch is capable of 3 On/Off settings, the water is set to come on and go off once a day on the timed setting, the CH is in the off position.

Depending on the system you could use an Air Inlet Valve, commonly known as a Drago Valve which allows normal flushing without the normal vent pipework. I'd still prefer the normal setup.
