Does anyone know a good 40kW output system boiler, I know Vaillant do a 37 and 45kW version but was after a 40kW model. Worcester do the 40kW CDI but it isn't a system boiler. Any thought's would be welcome. Thanks

Thanks for the replies. There are in fact two fireplaces so it would be the same to both. I assume a connection can be made beneath the screed so that a separate length of pipe doesn't have to be laid all the way from the incomer end?

We're on with some work at home and would like to run a gas supply to a fireplace but cap it off for now as it's will be a solid fuel fire. This would allow us to make it a gas appliance at some point in the future. The plumber has said it can be done and left at the fireplace but it also...

Some useful info here Lee thanks, I have seen the Andrews and Rinnai units before, they look good and are obviously a very feasible solution when fast HW recovery is needed. I just feel this is somewhere between a large (ish) house and a 'mansion' i.e. I think the system will lend itself better...

Are you suggesting a separate 20kW boiler for every installation now in order to achieve a minimum 30min reheat time, surely not. You won't win any jobs that way!
