Hi there, the attached photos are the top and bottom of a patio door. I look at these and think a) the top one has had a bit of plastic accidentally shaved off and is now stuck in the gap above the door, and b) the bottom one ‘guide’ bit has bent in under the door when it should be outside of...

Just double checking please - I have bought a pool heat pump and my electrics are good old live, neutral & earth. On the attached diagram, I should be connecting live to 'L ' & to '1' in parallel & also neutral to 'N' & '2' (& obviously earth to earth) There is nothign more I need to know...

Wow! Thanks everyone - this gives me some ideas - I will delve a bit deeper into the other end of the wire to be sure (with it switched off :-) ) and then go from there.
