Perfect answers thankyou both
I completely agree buying them would be less bother but it ought to be highlighted blocks are typically made to 80mm depth to withstand heavy vehicles.
For paving in a garden you could theoretically shave off 30mm and save on materials that way.
I thought i...
Hi
I would like to use forms to make turfstone paving.
The 1st batch, I released after 24hr (time constraint), they were solid enough, but it would of benefitted from release agent; (the slabs broke upon removal from mold).
What release agent is recommend for plastic molds? Most products...
I pressed the ball down to allow as much water before reaching overflow pipe. Depth 8”/20cm. No water exited the vent.
If i did extend the vent higher all i’d be adding is a pipe with air in it….
Edit the knurled cap is a lid, a white blank under it in the ball valve assembly.
Im oblivious on the physics involved and will definitely try this lowering of the float. How do i lower the float? You mean the ball float thing?
Ericmark,
No the header tank as-factory-made is not heated, and there is insulation between the tanks, although, come to think of it there were 3...
Hmm. The vent pipe extends higher than before but it open end is no higher than the header (its conjoined to it).
The lid is off the entire time (actually the 40mm pvc header overflow isnt currently connected - yet to do it).
What is lower the float? You mean depress it to add extra water?
You make a good point about small capacity. However the heated tank should have 110L (quick search suggests bath is 150L) ….
Each time i tested, no hot water was used prior on that day
I’d honestly say that the bath looks 50% full of what the system produced before.
Maybe in the previous setup...
Thankyou for the input.
Im familiar with how much hot water it produced before the modifications because i had baths regularly.
I might replace the mains pressurised braided hose (which feeds header) with 15mm pipework to see if that changes anything. The design of it is shown attachment (see...
Im happy that i have a shower now after years of only a bath. The shower runs hot for 30mins before it runs cold.
Its just that when i run a bath it looks like there is 50% less water before it runs cold.
Header tank is 2m above the ‘basic’ 1:1 shower/bath mixer tap
Is there a correct...
