Well.. I've just put it all back together, but thought I'd leave the blue wire we switched from 2 to 1 and see what happened. Much to my amazement, it seems to be working perfectly now. Sorry for messing you guys around and thank you very much for putting up with me and helping me out.

Looks like i'm going to have to get a pro in on this as it seems like its in a real mess. Brilliant :roll: Thanks for all the help guys...I'll let you know if/when I ever get to a solution.

Hi, sorry missus stole the PC. Erm, its def 12v, my meter is right as it reads 230v out of sockets. Could the blue wires in the wiring centre be muddled or something? Very strange...I know...

Ok, I've done that. The Blue Wire now reads 12V at the Wire Centre, with HW/CH off at programmer.

I'm sorry, but the Blue's are in 1 and 4 already, arn't they? If I number them like the image below, could you let me know which wire is incorrect then? Sorry again <- Novice

Sorry, my mistake with the last photographs. Plumbing isn't really my strong point, especially when it comes to what each of the parts are called. I don't have the tools at the moment to test if the Grey wire is live, so hopefully the issue can be spotted from the images below, if not, I'll...

So what would you suggest? Get the entire system looked at by someone? An electrian or a plumber? As for it being upside down, I'm pretty sure that's just the awful angle I had to get my camera in to take the picture =)
