    Hive connection to Worcester 30i

Just as an update to this. Nothing changed with my wiring. I just didn`t "click" the back plate on correctly so now I did and all is running ok. So, for any others looking at this, for my setup, I needed to link L and 1 on the Hive receiver back plate. Thanks for the advice and confirmation...

    Hive connection to Worcester 30i

Just wondering, I assume link wire between L and 1 is needed (as this was set up on the original connection)???

    Hive connection to Worcester 30i

Hi, I have managed to install a Hive ok to my combi boiler (Worcester 30i). However the heating will not come on. Tried a boost, and increasing temp on thermostat, but heating will not start. My hub, receiver are all connected up ok. Attached is the wiring (old unit, and new Hive). Does this...

I`ve taken the panel off, entered code to silence panel, and reset and checked wiring). This resets to just DAY mode as...

    Underfloor heating RCD tripping

Thanks. It`s cheap enough to replace first so I will try that and then move on. I can do this, but anything else will require special equipment and testing. I know that all resistances were checked before, after installation including sensor probe and all were within tolerances. Nothing has been...

    Underfloor heating RCD tripping

The power is only "off" on the thermostat controller (i.e. in a state where it is not supplying power to the UFH) and not by any isolation switch. And so, when the RCD trips, the whole thermostat is isolated. Thanks

    Underfloor heating RCD tripping

Sorry, to be clear the RCD supplies the thermostat that then supplies the UFH.

    Underfloor heating RCD tripping

Could this be on the non load side or load side or both?

    Underfloor heating RCD tripping

Hi. Before I call an expert out any thoughts on why my RCD has suddenly started tripping even when the power to the UFH on the thermostat is turned OFF? But trips sometime with heating on? If it's tripping with power off, could it be the thermostat, or a broken thermostat? The flooring has...
