Just moved into this house with electric shower that has no hot water coming through,only cold? Is it knackered?

My wife today cleaned the inside of our gas cooker.. now the oven lights but wont fire up to the right temperature it just stays low. What did she do to break it?

Ever since I have been in this house there has always been one small radiator in an upstairs bedroom which is invariably cold or nearly cold when all the others in the house are piping hot. I have tried bleeding it but cold water just squirts out of the bleeding hole. Anyone got any ideas...
