Hi. I am trying to contact ajs1954, briandiy, shedsman, muks11, donmaico, rutlander and bert99 as they all have the same grp roof problem as me. The noise has been incredible recently. Everest are coming to rebuild the roof in June, but don't actually know what the problem is. Do you have any good news, updates, a solution, or do you all still have the problem? Please respond if you have a grp roof with the noise issue, as I am desperate to find a way forward that will work, rather than any hopeful suggestions. I can tell you that there were no damp conditions when my roof was installed, and it has already been opened up looking for leaks or dampness, and there weren't any. I look forward to hearing from you.

Everest decided that putting more fixings in the roof would not work and that painting the roof with reflective paint would work. We have waited 8 weeks for them to come and finish the roof but they keep putting it off. We are fed up with the place looking like a building site with all the scaffolding up, so have told them to forget it! We are now going to move to get away from the noisy roof.

Hi Andrew,
Everest have now put 3 expansion joints in my roof, but the noise is just as bad. Now waiting for them to come and put some fixings in somewhere. Don't think they have any idea what to do next.

I've seen your comments on the forum about your GRP flat roof problems. We have similar issues as well and are interested to find out what your Everest rep and Surveyor came up with.
