    Ah, I think the PDF I have is of the newer models - the filling loop looks really obvious on there! Are you saying there is another valve beyond a cutout in the base of the case-proper?

    Alas, not. This system doesn't have the filling loop exposed. It's all inside the case. I suspect that there *is* another valve somewhere, I'm just not sure where! :wink: I've found the installation manual on the Vaillant website, but no immediately obvious solutions.....I'll report back if...

    Hi, newbie here. I inadvertently depressurised the DHW system by fiddling with the pressure release valve, so I now get an f.28 on my ecoTec combi. There was no manual when I moved into the house last year, so a bit of hunting on here revealed that this model has an internal filling loop...
