These past few weeks it has stopped working with the warning light for flame failure lit, but a reset has got it working again.
However today it is not firing up at all and no warning lights are coming on either; the two green lights come on as normal (power and rads) and it makes the noise as...
Hello again, I just got around to remove it and clean and grease the pin(/push rod) - and although it worked the first time, it has stopped working again.
Do I need to clean or grease anything else? Or should I just order a new one? (Or could something else be the problem?)
Thanks for any...
Thanks for the replies everyone.
We have a lot of laylandii and end up having a couple of bonfires a year, and also have an unused concrete workshop that would be great for storage. If that wasn't enough... one of our neighbours actually sells wood for home fires (he gets lorry loads...
Thanks for the replies.
Swbjackson - does this photo help regarding the flue?
Corgigrouch - there is already quite a big vent behind the boiler, though I did spray some foam filler in it when we installed a new boiler as it was too drafty! lol

Hi Everyone, I have the same problem as per this thread: http://www.diynot.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=94199

If so would it be a...
Thanks for the replies both, and sorry for not being clearer.
The houses were originally normal two storey houses with basements from what I gather, but then I guess they got two story extensions and basement rooms as all the houses in this row are pretty much the same - although some...
Hi All,
I'm thinking about getting an extension done and just wondering whether it's in my budget or not. Also, I'd appreciate your thoughts on my overall idea - in case there's something you think could be done better.
Here's the current layout - it's the basement which backs onto the...
I am thinking about getting an extension done but there's a drain where I'd like to extend out on (looks like a sewage drain as the pipe is from the toilet). Will it be costly to get this moved?
The cream wall to the right is the back of my house (so I want to extend leftwards in the...
