Bottom of wooden door hitting jamb

Thanks for the quick reply! Pound coin won’t fit anywhere round the door but the 10p is a good fit for most of it. The only place it gets tight is above the handle till just below the handle. It won’t fit in the gap there.

Bottom of wooden door hitting jamb

They are solid wood doors. They are only about 12 years old in a new build bungalow. Here are some pics showing the gap decreasing.

Bottom of wooden door hitting jamb

Nah. They are pretty much opposite sides of the house. They are bedroom doors so light use.

Bottom of wooden door hitting jamb

It’s a pretty even gap on the hinge side. Tested it with a bit of paper all the way down it. There was no packers on the hinges when I looked.

Bottom of wooden door hitting jamb

Afternoon folks, I have two interior wooden doors with the same issue. The bottom of the door is hitting the side jamb well before the top and so you have to really pull it to close it and then off course it pops open when opened because of the pressure on it. The door havent warped so...

Camray 5 65\90A Oil Usage Question

You were dead on! The wiring of the Nest was right but it looked like the CH wire was making contact with one of the live feeds so it was calling for heat all the time......that explains some of the extra oil usage!

NEST Installation on Oil Heating System - Danfloss MK42 9ER

I took your advice but sods law could not find my multimeter yesterday so i just went old school with it. I pulled out the CH heat wire from the nest and left it hanging for two hours while i watched the football in the kitchen (good excuse ;). The boiler never fired once. Screwed it back in...

NEST Installation on Oil Heating System - Danfloss MK42 9ER

It’s a cam 5 with a balanced flu as far as I know. So when you say switch the nest off do you mean the heatlink controller that’s mounted on the wall?

NEST Installation on Oil Heating System - Danfloss MK42 9ER

It’s the burner lockout since you mention it not the overheat. The reset kicks it into life straight away with no need to bleed it so it doesn’t look like air. Filters have been replaced.

NEST Installation on Oil Heating System - Danfloss MK42 9ER

Actually.....we are having an issue with lockouts that looks thermal as if we leave the boiler door open we don’t get them. So any ideas what the wiring issue could be as I thought it was good :(

NEST Installation on Oil Heating System - Danfloss MK42 9ER

Hi Stem, Thanks for the sanity check. I was pretty sure the wiring was the right way as the system but its great to have a second opinion. In answer to your question the heating and water dont come on when the boiler decides to wake itself up. Just runs for about those three minutes twice an...
