Decorators caulk for beading in bathroom or silicone?

Cheers guys, used stixall which was the stuff I used to stick it down with, never realised you could use it as a sealant too.

Decorators caulk for beading in bathroom or silicone?

Laid some beading to finish off the LV flooring in showerroom and realise I don't have any more silicone sealant to smooth over the top of the beading however I do some no nonsense decorators caulk. Would that be viable, shouldn't really be any contact with water other than moisture. Cheers

    Extractor fan for bathroom.

Was using this fan size selector https://www.tlc-direct.co.uk/Technical/Ventilation/Ventilation4.html which gave me the stats. The bathroom and showeroom are different rooms but next door to each other, hence asking about 1 fan feeding two rooms. Also asking about a plugged fan so can switch...

    Extractor fan for bathroom.

Getting round to this eventually and found an online fan size calculator and it suggests an inline fan of 340 cubic mtr per hour. Few more questions. Where else can you get inline extractor fans other than Amazon, screwfix etc. Is an extracor with a plug suitable or is it better hard wired into...

One of the rooms struggles to get a signal, there is no interferance from other wifi routers. Hooked up an Asus...

    Extractor fan for bathroom.

Needing an extractor fan for a bathroom and was wondering if you guys could give me some info please. Shower generates a lot of steam even with the window open, so the bathroom gets steamy even on quick showers. Height of bathroom is 2.6m, width is 2m and length is 3.4m, so its a big bathroom...

Soz for being a pest but can I keep the lights and the gubbing behind and just replace the front face bezel (I think it's called). Cheers

Replacing spotlight above shower to IP rated one.

Took out one of the units and it's 230v gu10 on it, swapped it with a ip44 halogen from another bathroom (which had a mix of halogen and LED and it still worked. I assume they will be mains voltage then. Another query I have is that in a previous house it was just a normal light in the bathroom...

Replacing spotlight above shower to IP rated one.

Got a new bath and shower fitted (bath was in there previously) and the bathroom has halogen spotlights in it. I know I will need to replace at least one of them (one above the shower). Is it as easy as just swapping over the complete unit or will there be transformers involved too. The ceilimg...

Kitchen mixer tap squeals and leaks when other taps get used.

So eventually getting round to doing this and this is the tap i'm getting https://www.screwfix.com/p/swirl-ceramic-disc-mono-mixer-kitchen-tap-chrome/10724 I'm hoping that the pipes from the old tap will fit the new one as would rather avoid replacing the elbows to the feed. The cold feed is a...

    New bathroom light required?

Ended up getting a cheap led bulhead from screwfix. Question is though, when the hell did they start using push connectors rather than screwed ones (although earth was screw). Took a lot longer than it should have ti install the light.

    New bathroom light required?

Cheers for the info guys. @Harry Bloomfield. I'm in Scotland but cheers for offer. @SFK looks like it. But looking for something cheaper if possible. Swapped over the light from the en-suite to the bathroom and it works, so definately the unit not working. House is on the market, so don't want...
