The tank is being replaced under my Homecare contract. As the Flowmax design has changed slightly I think the pipe work in the cupboard will need to be replaced anyway. What are BG likely to recommend / try to sell me and what do I actually need? Thanks.

Don't think we have a sludge problem but the system has been running for 20 years with it only having been drained once in that time to fit some more radiators. With a brand new tank going in I thought it might be worth fitting a Magnabooster now or should we just wait until the boiler...

No, I realise that BG must get them cheaper than I can get one simply from the number they must purchase. It just seems wrong to not get one fitted whilst the systems is drained down. To re-fill it with all the chemicals then a week later drain it again only to re-fill it doesn't feel right...

After hours / weekend sort of misses the opportunity as the system is curently drained and I believe he is likely to actually have to move or replace the pipe that the filter would go on as part of the homecare work. Looks to me like it should take 10-15 minutes to fit whilst doing everything...
