    I've obviously not properly explained what advice I need here. I simply want to know ideas for pushing the wire back in the current hole then back out through a new hole that i will make near the end of the light. How to 'find' the new hole with the wire?

    The old one I took down did have centre hole cut. Hence the ceiling wires drop point. However this new one has it's connections not in the centre,.but instead a choice of either end. So, just need to make new hole near the connected end then somehow pull wires through ceiling to get to new hole...

    Hi all, installed a new strip light but the wires on the new one went in at the end instead of centre. I now need to chase the wire through the ceiling. It's only around 24" away.
