    OK, you all say the 3/4" will fit, but as you can see from the first picture the 3/4" cap i have is far smaller than the connection I've removed. (both shown side by side in top pic). No amount of ptfe tape is going to change that.

    hi, i've just got a new washing machine which only uses a cold feed, whereas the previous one had a hot and cold. The isolating valve on the hot has a very slight drip now that i've closed it off, so i want to cap it off. Is that possible, is there a large enough 'cap' to do that? It looks like...
