Yes that is what appears to be happening. The bottom 1 and half inches of the element is icing up. Can you tell me how I effect the repair. Thanks . :)
Thanks Leccy. My Ebac seems to be in working order. Sounds like it's working well. But just doesn't extract water!!! That's double Dutch ain't it!

The RAC man put the original key in the ignition turned it to start.. within a few minutes the immoblizer reset itself.. yipee
So my car is now off to the scrap yard! Trading it in for a new VW golf..via scrappage scheme!

I tried to start my car with my spare set of keys..not the normal ones that I use! Didn't think ot would make a difference!
The car wouldn't start & the eletronic immoblizer icon showed on dashboard.
I can't use my normal keys to start now & the car is stuck outside my...
:) Hi My blue bathroom fabric vertical blinds have black patches of mould on them... I've heard that soaking them in a solution of Miltons sterilization solution does the trick...Does anyone know if this is the correct way of cleaning them?
