Hi My blue bathroom fabric vertical blinds have black patches of mould on them... I've heard that soaking them in a solution of Miltons sterilization solution does the trick...Does anyone know if this is the correct way of cleaning them?

We just remove all the bits and pieces from all our blinds and chuck them in the washer.No probs.
Hear hear, washing machine is the way - we do this to thousands of blinds during refurbs if a client doesn't want new.
Wash without fear, just don't over fill the machine and do it at a low temp, reduce crease / delicate type wash.
As soon as wash complete put them back up to let them dry, don't hang them on a line.
