The machine fills and pumps out fine

Hi, thanks for your response. Yes I took the grill out of the base and cleaned everything out including filters etc and the wash arms. I poured a hot kettle into the base and followed some instructions for a reset which someone had posted for another whirlpool problem. I tried the machine again after this and it was wet and hot inside but the was arms were in the same position. Same when I tried the rinse cycle. Do I think the motor may need replacing?

The wash motor is the lively cause. If you open the door just after it has finished filling and started washing you should see lots of spray and both arms slowing down. If you don't see spary and water is only trickling out if the arms then the wash motor / pump is possibly not forcing the water around. The impeller may be damaged. I guess you have already cleaned thr filter, filter mesh and the spray arms.

Hi. My whirlpool 7560 dishwasher makes a grinding/grumbling sound when washing and doesn't clean the pots properly.......can anyone help please
