    tiling

I'll agree with Oilman. A professional should take approx. 1hr per sqm to tile then 15min per sqm to grout up. Working on an hourly rate of £20?? you can get a rough cost?

    Wall Brackets for Floating Shelves

Are these the thick shelves that seem to hang there without support? If so I made some recently from 2" x 9" flooring joist. I chiselled out a 15mm square section from each end - set 1" back from the front face, so you won't see it when up. Then I used two 15mm square sections as mounting...

    Tiling on Uneven Surfaces

I tend to use a generous amount of adhesive to pack 'em even. It works if your careful and use a straight edge over them as you go. Be prepared to take a few off to readjust.

Cost of fitting a kitchen worktop

I've heard that it's normal to charge £35 per joint. I'd guess that the cut out would be similarly priced and about £20/straight cut. Hope this gives you a rough idea.

    Boss TRV's

Hi, I have a whistling radiator. If I change the TRV is it likely to stop? Also am I right in that they can be changed insitu and all you have to do is turn it off (to 0) and unscrew and to reassemble turn to 5 and reconnect? Thank you. :?:
