    Underfloor heating not working

Hi I have underfloor heating in my kitchen extension which does not seem to be working at the moment. Please can I check should the red handle on the manifold flow pipe be at 90 degrees to the pipe when in operation? Please see the photo. Also, I have two thermostats in the house, one for the...

Single storey extension advice - foundations

Thanks, I'll do that. There are some council owned garages a few metres away and you can see that a slab has been laid on top of the existing concrete and then the brick wall built on top of that. My extension wouldnt be much taller in height than these.

Single storey extension advice - foundations

Hi there I live in an end terrace and looking to build a small single storey side extension. My house and garden are all built on concrete - the soil in the garden is only about 3 inches thick and sits on concrete (my street sits on what used to be a big factory site). Is it still necessary to...

Electric shower keeps tripping RCD (duplicate threads merged)

Thank you for your help. The rcd is on a distribution board, there isnt a seperate one solely for the shower. I have bought another shower now, and the inlet pipe is on the opposite side and so going to need a plumber to do some pipework. I should have bought another triton as the inlet pipe...

Electric shower keeps tripping RCD (duplicate threads merged)

The power to the shower is stuck on as the pull cord is broken. It was tripping after shower was running for abut 3 minutes or so. No multimeter.

Electric shower keeps tripping RCD (duplicate threads merged)

Thanks I'll try this. So even if shower is not in use it can still cause rcd to trip?

Electric shower keeps tripping RCD (duplicate threads merged)

It is definitely the rcd. It tripped in the middle of the night last night so might not be the electric shower after all. I don't have anything on timer. The rcd won't go back up now.

Electric shower keeps tripping RCD (duplicate threads merged)

Hi there I have had my electric shower for about 3 years now and had no problems with it up until now. Basically after about 3 minutes use, it keeps tripping the RCD in the fuse box. I did have a plumber come out last weekend and wire in a new 3 port valve in the airing cupboard - could it be...

    Plumber bypassed wall thermostat?

She's a real beauty, with just 2 wires. Could they be the wrong way round? Here are some links to pictures: https://ibb.co/gutoF6 https://ibb.co/dKnFv6 https://ibb.co/d0G8F6
