    potterton housewarmer 45 ignition

Hi, i have a potterton housewarmer 45. I have just had it rewired and a new programmer in. The problem i have now is that the ignition is really slow. It used to try and ignite a few times a second, now, it tries about once a second until it eventually locks out if it doesn't ignite. Any ideas?

potterton house warmer 45 lock out

I got a corgi registered gas engineer in to change all components, and an electrician to check wiring. I have the installation booklet and it doesnt say anything about a motorised valve on the back boiler.

Hi guys, i have had a problem with my backboiler for a while now and its really getting me down. The back boiler keeps locking out. Should my boiler be earthed?

Hi guys, i have recently had lots of problems with my backboiler, although the problems appear to be solved now, i have a query. The boiler is a potterton house warmer with a heating system. The control unit earth isnt connected to anything, its just "floating" behind the programmer, the same...

Well, the electricians been and gone, rewired pump, mains & boiler to programmer. Still the same happening. After he scratched his head for a while, he blamed the boiler control board. It was definately NOT the programmer he said. When he had gone, i had an urge to remove the programmer...
