    If you only brought it in October, it should still be under manufacturer warranty. Call comet and you should get it sorted out or replaced free of charge

    400 wide dishwasher?

    You can get slimline dishwashers as small as about 44.6cm wide http://www.appliancesonline.co.uk/product_listings.aspx?action=sort&PageNumber=0&sortBy=price&sortOrder=asc&existingCanonical=true&pageSize=12 but I think you will definately struggle to get anything smaller.
