    i would not rely consider it outside, the outhouse is connected to to the house and solid cinder block it also houses the downstairs toilet. The light in the outhouse is fed from the main consumer unit and was installed by the electrician.

    i chose type c because its what the electrician used, all the mcb's in my consumer unit are type c. but if you think type b would be better i'll use that instead.

    power tools mainly table saw, bench grinder, lawn mower drill charger etc. prob wont be using it all in one go but it would be nice to have it all plugged in so i don't have to crawl under the workbench. and i plan on having a switch before the sockets so i can isolate everything.

    Hi guys and gals, i'm planning on putting some sockets into my outhouse. i want to install 4 double sockets, i plan on using a crabtree 20A MCB type c, 2.5mm twin and earth and wiring it in a radial circuit to save money/effort. is this ok/safe and within the regs. thanks.

    The spur is on the ring, the cable to the fridge socket is the same as the other 2 (thick flat gray stuff) and the fridge socket is the only one on the spur. the whole house was rewired 2 years back so it all should be up to code. also the fridge/freezer is frost free and has a off switch. thanks

    Replacing fused spur with socket?

    hi, above the counter there is a switched fused spur that feeds to a socket for the fridge/freezer. since there is already a fuse in the plug of the fridge could i swap out the spur for a socket? Thanks.
