    i contacted ideal and they had a technical support guy call me back. when the guy called he must of thought i was an engineer!!? lol he said to link L1 and L2 in the connector block to prove its not the boiler, then when i said i cant take the cover off because im not an engineer he said, oh...

    Ahh just had another look at it and it just says c on status indicator. No burner led on noise no steam outside no warmth at rads.

    Flue goes straight out the rear of the boiler through wall, then at bottom are mains cable, one small pipe one slightly bigger pipe. As you can imagine I'm completely useless at these things. Hence I'm here asking for help. The payment in kind would be a cup of tea, sandwich pat on the back...
