Thanks for your responses, have edited my post sorry :) firstly yes that is a public road and have previously thought about having a parking area at back there, i am looking for a seating area for bbq etc and good for kids so no ponds for us lol

hi coljack, thanks for the offer but i have suitable access up the side of the house and good location on the front garden to ditch a skip without paying to have it on the road. thanks again tho
