No air, just water comes out. not sure on piping size but looks standard, 12mm?
The system was balanced by two different engineers at different times. Most rads, if not all were set to about 1/4 to 1/2 turn.
Any help on this? Driving me mad. Had a Few plumbers come out who couldn’t figure it out. The rad is only partially hot so seems like there’s air in it but after bleeding for a few mins it only heats up for a few days and then back to partially hot.
Also put leak sealer in system thinking it...
After the heating had not been used for a few months, finally turned it on a couple weeks back. One of the rads makes a gargling / water whooshing sound when the heating is switched on, turned off or when someone turns on a hot water tap (diverting from heating to hot water taps).

I’ll be removing the top part which easily screws away. Not sure how easily I can remove the actual hood.
Most paints I’ve seen are Matt black rather than gloss. Just not sure how the matt finish will look.
I’m looking to paint a stainless steel cooker extractor hood black. I’m unsure which primer and paint to use given this will be exposed to heat.
ideally looking for a smooth finish but don’t mind the textured finish either.
Any recommendations?
what colour were your cabinets prior to painting? I keep hearing that I should use a shellac based primer as I have oak / veneer oak cabinets. Otherwise was also going to use zinsser 123.
Looking to paint old IKEA cabinets which appear to be a oak coloured veneer rather than pure oak. Which primer would be best?
zinsser 123
Zinsser 123 plus
Zinsser bin
Tikkurala Otex
The top coat will be a dark shade and will be hand applied rather than sprayed.
Thanks.
but the rad was turning on with the chw. If the rad was piped with the dhw, then the rad would start to get warm when someone would turn on the hot water?
Turn the cold feed off to the boiler and try bleeding or draining the rad.
If nothing comes out someone’s got egg on their face lol!
Sorry, but what will this prove?
Since the pump settings were saved, the rads been stone cold. Doesn’t even get warm anymore.
Not had a chance to swap and flow to the top.
Why I can hear water gushing in the radiator every time someone turns on the hot water tap. It’s not a trickling sounds and goes on for a min. The rad also then looses its heat and takes forever to heat up again. Never had this before the boiler was...
