Thanks for those tips. Our boiler is unusually on the top floor and could not be floor vented. Adding vents is just going to be a nightmare where the boiler is positioned. Thanks for the info on the TRVs I was told by the heating engineer that they were £18 each. Is this a rip off?

I am not a BG customer for my gas I am just using the for the Homecare. You shouldn't have to change it if you change gas provider. I have my gas with Scottish power and have it capped so they cannot hike it. You can probably get better than that though. Why not use the uswitch.com website to...
