I bought it on ebay new, but it did cure the non reving problem when cold

I understand what you mean about load but when its stationary the revs are bit flat, then dip the clutch and it revs perfectly.

the fault was air flow meter nothing els but its annoying pulling into trafic and she reacts a bit slow, but apart from that its fine, im just stuck as to why dipping the clutch would make it rev properly.

Thanks peter I am a bit like yourself, and yes its not as clear cut as it used to be,frustrating at times, but Im willing to learn, just need a break but dont know anyone in the trade. I have a love and passion for cars and just want to learn more.
