My dads twintec been in 3-4 years, cleaned it out other week as not been looked at for 2 years as been in canada.

U can do it without havign access.. just got to make sure trap is in bang on spot and height and then bed your tray over it and screw in top part of trap tight.
But u have to have trust in yourself this way.
Yes the one i fitted has the larger 10mm holes. Thats the first thing i noticed when i got it- the difference in hole size- ooerrr.

my neighbour has a 824 e and has had same problem before. I found out was the diverter valve as the ball swells and vaillant have since changed design a bit to stop it sticking in one psoition.
This is less than two years ago and its at the same problem...
