I thought a visqueen vapour barrier was to stop the moisture from being able to get from inside to the insulation cold side? Meaning no condensation. Have I got it wrong?

All the pipes are lagged, it's a new build. It's like the oil combi boiler can't keep up with the demand. I think it's because the flow rate through the heat exchanger needs to be below 15l per minute to keep the hot water store heated. Would that be right?

Hi, i have just extended my central heating system to upstairs but before plasterboard i would like to test the system for leaks. If i blank all the tails upstairs and then connect upto the system, will the air in the pipe upstairs bleed from radiators/taps downstairs? Thanks in advance

Yes it was my decision. Wanted as little space in the house taken up by water cylinders and plumbing pipes.

Thank you for your reply. So running mostly 22mm for the shower and sink basin won't affect pressure too much? Also is it normal with a combi boiler that if the shower is running and then the kitchen hot tap is opened that the shower goes cold?
