Yes its fine to paint over and someone else asked (which i didnt screenshot) if it was ok to wallpaper over, and the answer was yes to that too.

Hi. Diy novice. So hubby just used a heat gun on 1 door frame and got all the layers of old paint off brilliantly. However on the 2nd door. All the white has come off and left the green stuff underneath. Is it just old paint? Thanks

Hi nige. Previous tenants who i just managed to speak to. Said the put tile paint on and it just used to peel off :( so is there anything i can do to avoid that happening? Do i need to get the old paint off first?
