I'm not getting anything at all across the element terminals which says to me that the heating element is dead, correct? Which bit is the thermal cut out? I thought there was two thermostats there?

Evening all, I have an old Whirlpool AWZ3303 tumble dryer that rotates but does not heat. Yes, I'd agree with Dereekoo - most likely need a structural engineer to look into doing some calculations for you as (in my area at least, others may also confirm) adding a new Velux would need building regs - so building control would want to see the calcs.
