Some renders say you can prime cracks and paint but I think you should probably give EWI a call and see what they say. Good luck

So, first wall was awful. Learned a lot since then.

1) proper paddle mixer. None of that paint mixer in my SDS

2) don't apply if there is any sun. Like at all. Or if it's any temperature above 'slightly chilly'

3) mesh the whole wall, then do top coat. It's sets a much smoother back

4) slop up a column, speed-skim it, don't touch it again until it's ready to sponge. Do another column

5) sponging - yea, don't finish at 9pm and not be able to sponge until morning.

6) don't leave the muck stuck to you getting wet repeatedly..... Ouch. My first chemical burn.

All that said and learned. I'm happy with the last and most visible wall



Nailed QS on trims, insulation and mesh... not so much the powder... Anyone want 7 bags of EWI-220?

That was so much bloody work. Battling the balance between sun and rain. Fence panel removal in and out day after day. Dealing with random passers by (would have made for great people watching I'm sure - some ignore you, some turn their nose up, some want to chat and others don't see you until they're about to walk into you because they're staring at their phone)

But I'm pleased with it.

TO THE ROOOOOOOOOOF!

It's all on order bar the fascia. But that can be a laster minute addition.
