Thanks for the response TheDec. The walls are currently in a matt finish which I'd go for again. I haven't decided on an exact shade yet, but it'll be a lightish grey similar to "Easy Rider" from Crown - http://www.crownpaint.co.uk/colour/1252/easy-rider-.htm

Hi everyone, I just moved into a new flat, and I'd love to paint the living room, but I need some advice from the experts first! Currently, three of the walls are a darkish red colour, and the fourth wall is an off-white/beige. I'm going to paint all four walls the same lightish grey...
