I,m about to start on a concrete slab for off street parking. what I had in mind was , four inches mot type 1, and six inches of concrete with ,with steel mesh. is this about right, or is it overkill?, many thanks for any help given.

the floor boards on my landing/bed rooms creak when you walk on them. I will be lifting carpets and screwing down the boards. would it be any advantage if I laid hard board on top of boards , before I lay the carpet back. thanks.

I am going to reduce the height of the panels to 20ins.as wall is between two houses, the wind direction is between the houses so very little wind pressure on side of fence. hope this makes sense.

can,t change roof now, what if i put up a ceiling,using ply ,or other sutable timber, with rockwool inbetween roof and ceiling,? or use jabalite,or kingspan. any usefull help greatly appresiated.
