    Laying Tongue & Groove Floorboards?

Thanks to everyone for your advice. As I said, I was overly hasty when I purchased standard pine T&G floorboards from a local builders merchants to do the job - I should have done my research first! Anyway, as I paid for the boards a few months ago I might as well have a go, the worst that can...

    Laying Tongue & Groove Floorboards?

Thanks for all the suggestions and tips. I'm beginning to think I need to get a pro in to do this job! I have watched a few videos on YouTube and not seen the use of clamping although I'm sure I read about it somewhere :) I wonder what is used to clamp? Do you know a brand of D4 PVA glue...

    Laying Tongue & Groove Floorboards?

I agree with your comment = boring in long lengths. I think the cuts give a bit of character and colour changes at the cut that looks nice. I'm not sure which glue would be the best choice - I've never done this before but have time to get it looking good - I hope :)

Hi guys Please excuse my total ignorance of central heating! Our heating isn't as effective as it once was ! I've checked most of the radiators today and while some are working well and uniformly warm top to bottom, others are warm at the bottom and cold at the top. I'm guessing this...

Electricity Off 90mins - Back Boiler Not Working!!

Hi guys This is a bit of a strange one and has me baffled. Last Friday EDF Energy swapped our electricity meter for a more modern one. The household electricity was disconnected for 90 minutes while the work was carried out. Since then, our Potterton Housewarmer back boiler hasn't worked...

    Potterton Housewarmer HELP!

Okay, it's getting cold and I should have got this sorted before now!! We moved into a house with a Potterton Housewarmer gas fire/back boiler. Firstly, we have NO operating instructions so I'm hoping someone here might be able to bring warmth to our home :) These are some of the...
