    Changing a thermostat

before rushing out and spending money on all sorts of goodies, look under the boiler on the right hand side, you will hopefully see a rectangle, gently press this up into the boiler by a couple of mm and with any luck and a bit of magic a programmer will drop down, set your times and push timer...

Help replacing Honeywell thermostat with a Salus RT300 RF

Ross, The receiver needs to be wired from the boiler not the programmer, there are contacts on the boiler for this. these are shown in the instruction book. If you are not confident about this, be safe and get a professional in. David

Help replacing Honeywell thermostat with a Salus RT300 RF

Sorry but after looking in the instruction book its not possible to connect to the existing stat wiring. But why not put the receiver next to the boiler then there would be no problem with a new piece of cable. If the boiler is between kitchen units the receiver can be mounted on top of...

Turn off water take out cartridge, you will find that the part with the washer on has a hexagonal shaft on it which should go into a hexagonal hole, I would guess that the shaft has come out of its hole, due to wear on the tap washer. On the shaft where the tap head goes you will find a clip...

Changing a Kitchen tap - non standard model?

Having looked at the photos it seems to me to be a simple job to remove the taps. They cannot be undone from under the sink so they must come undone from above. After turning off the water, take off the tap heads, either pull, or unscrew H&C discs take out screw then remove heads. You will...

No CH without HW being on

Hi Walderslade, This is interesting, I went to look at a system a while back in one of the newer areas of Walderslade, with the same problems, found that the "hot water off" had not been connected between the programmer and the 3 port valve, The cable was installed but had not been connected...

    UPDATE ON THIS ANYONE HELP?

The timer you have is only a single channel model so I would think that it would be wired so it turns on the boiler at the times set, and then you have to control your heating and hot water with the thermostats. This timer will not give individual control of CH & DHW They will both come on...
